Can I order a "sample box" of produce?

Our CSA Program does provide boxes of mixed produce. However, we do not offer this to our non-CSA customers. Orders must be placed from the PRODUCE list which is updated every Monday.
If you have questions about particular items or need help deciding how much of each item to order we will be happy to assist you.

Where are you located?

We are located in Brunswick, Georgia. We do not publish our address or directions to our farm because we do not allow drop-in visitors.
When you place an order we will give you exact directions. If you have concerns about getting to the farm please feel free to contact us.

Do you sell beef or cheese?

We are only selling vegetables at this time. We will have pastured beef available again in 2009.
Please contact the farm for more information.

Do you offer farm tours?

Farm tours are not available although the vegetable gardens are available for viewing.

Do you sell produce at any farmer's markets?

At this time we are selling produce off of the farm only.

How do I place an order?

You may place an order via email (ba@sapelofarms.com). Orders must be placed in advance.
Available produce is listed on our PRODUCE page. You should browse the page and make a list of items you would like and quantities.
We will always respond with an email or phone call to let you know if your produce is available.
Orders should specify a pick-up time (i.e., between 1-1:30pm).

Are you organic?

We are not organic. We are a sustainable farm. We use as much compost as possible. We use organic pest control whenever possible.
We also garden in a very hot, humid climate. This means that we have a lot of insects. We will always use chemicals as a last resort to save a crop.
We have very sandy soil. This means that it is necessary for us to use commercial fertlizers in addition to our compost.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and checks.
